PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

FENTON, MO

$65k-$85k + Benefit package

Direct Hire

Shifts: 2nd/230pm-1030pm, 3rd/1030pm-630am

SUMMARY Production Supervisor is responsible for the planning and supervision of employees engaged in the manufacture and assembly of a product. Determines how tasks will be accomplished. Achieves stated goals and objectives. Accepts, performs, and is accountable for the results of assigned duties. Evaluates necessary resources. Identifies and informs superiors of departmental problems and solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Supervise up to 30 employees, production operators and support staff
  • Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly objectives for staff
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Check production output according to specifications
  • Submit reports on performance and progress
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Prior experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mechanical production environment producing steel tubing engineered components and welded assemblies
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Previous reporting and understanding of time and materials used for quality parts to the customer

Education/Experience: High School Diploma. New college graduates with technical, engineering, or relevant field of study. Preferred experience in metal fabrication and welded assemblies.
